Easy Chessy Broccoli and Tuna Pasta

Hi, I made this little fast dish on a whim one night because i didn't want to slave in the kitchen for an hour. It only takes 10 minutes to prepare. And it's really good.

2-Packages of Lipton Cheddar Broccoli Pasta Sides
1-Can of Tuna in water
1/2-Bag of frozen cut Broccoli
3-Slices of American Sandwich Cheese
1-cup of Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese

Put the Lipton Pasta Sides in a large pot and just double the water and milk on the package. Add your can of tuna don't drain the water, but flake the tuna first. And add your broccoli and all the cheese to the pot, Stir all contents until the cheese is melted and bring to a boil as directed on the pasta package. Make sure you stir frequently so nothing sticks to your pot. When the 10 minutes of boiling is up sit the pot on a dish towel on your counter for about 5 minutes and let it thicken. I serve this with honey wheat rolls by King's Hawaiian.

Cost of this meal:
Lipton Pasta Sides are $1 at Walmart
I use Walmart brand tuna its .62 cents
I got my broccoli at Walmart for $1.50
I use Walmart brand sandwich cheese it $2.12 for 24 slices I used 3 so that's $0.09 cents a slice
And I buy Walmart brand Shredded Cheddar Cheese for $1.96

And the total is: $4.02 ...and this will feed 4 people very well.

That's $1.00 per person way more healthy then that hamburger from McDonald's.

A good way the hide veggies from kids it to cover it in cheese. Hope you enjoyed this recipe.
