Baked Ziti

1/2 pound of Hamburger - $3.49 lbs. (So for this recipe we are using only a half pound at $1.75)
1 can of Spaghetti Sauce - $1.00
1 package of Mozzarella - $1.77
1/2 a box of Penna Pasta - $1.42
1 cup of Ricotta - $1.99
2 tablespoons of Italian Spice - $3.85 for 1.50 oz.
1 tablespoon of Fennel - $3.85 for 1.50 oz.

Total Meal Cost: $17.37**

Boil your noodles and sit aside to cool. Meanwhile brown your hamburger and add the tablespoon of fennel and a pinch of Italian Spice. Allow the fennel to pop you'll smell it. Drain the grease and add the can of spaghetti sauce. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Return to your noodles add the ricotta, a teaspoon of Italian Spice, and 1/2 cup of mozzarella. Put half the noodles in a casserole dish and top with mozzarella, Italian spice, and meat sauce. Put the second layer of noddles and top that with the rest of the meat sauce, mozzarella and Italian spice. Bake uncovered for 30 mins.

**Please keep in mind that with the spices you are getting ingredients you will be using for future Served Dinners! As well as an extra half pound of Hamburger meat you can use later in the week as well.
